About Us: Our Little Family and Inspirations.
My name is Ingrid, and I’m the founder of Learning World. I have been in the education sector for many years, with various academic and non-academic work experiences with children from early to teenage years. Together with my husband, I am also a proud parent of two young boys, Jamie and Timothy, who continue to inspire my passion for education.
I have always been fascinated by the growing journey of children’s development. Their eagerness to explore and learn and the pride they take when they reach a new milestone. As educators or parents, we are responsible for this continuous learning experience through lots of encouragement and our belief in their capabilities, keeping in mind that every child is different, and the environment we present to them should accommodate their strengths, needs, and preferences whilst incorporating activities (indoors and outdoors) that help them grow cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally.
Our Goal
Learning World was created with this approach: an online shop that provides a wide range of children’s toys and equipment designed and created to help children’s development. Each toy is meticulously chosen to support skills acquisition by providing educational and sensory experiences.
Learning World has a wide variety of toys that can fit perfectly in settings that promote educational approaches, particularly Montessori or Waldorf methods. Our wooden toys are durable and environmentally friendly and are crafted with simplicity to unleash their full potential through curiosity and boost their inner love for learning.
